ABOUT LBCC
Lexington-Bell Community Center
The mission of the Lexington-Bell Community Center (LBCC) is to strengthen, advocate and empower the community through the delivery of quality social, educational and recreational services with an emphasis on families and children. LBCC creates an environment for students to become life-long learners in a setting where they feel supported, safe and respected.
Our history
LBCC has provided quality social services to more than three generations of families who reside in the Greater Cleveland area. The Center is based in the Hough community with a long rich history for the African-American community in the City of Cleveland. Our commitment to providing quality services to children and their families spans 60 years. Our focus on quality education services through our early learning program and after-school program strives to provide a strong academic foundation for children to learn and thrive. We motivate and prepare our children to excel in grade school, achieve high school graduation and enter college.
